On August 20, 2026, Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory successfully held its 2026 new-staff training session. Eleven new employees from various research platforms and nine joint-training graduate students participated in the training. Designed to help new employees fully and rapidly integrate into the laboratory’s research environment, the training offered systematic insights into the laboratory’s top-level research layout, core institutional regulations and key operational procedures, pooling new talent for the laboratory’s new-round research breakthroughs and platform development.
Covering full-scope themes including research positioning, career development, safety protocols, institutional safeguards and work confidentiality, the training helped new members quickly fit into the laboratory community. At the session, heads of functional departments and key staff of the laboratory delivered in-depth briefings on key management systems, practical operational standards, laboratory biosafety and fire safety, as well as national confidentiality regulations and the laboratory’s internal confidentiality requirements. These sessions enabled new employees and joint-training graduate students to get familiar with daily workflows and master practical professional details. They also strengthened safety awareness and emergency-response capabilities, laying a solid foundation for fostering sound professional habits and carrying out independent work.
The successful training provided valuable learning opportunities and career-development support for new arrivals and further boosted the laboratory’s cohesion and centripetal force. Taking this training as a new starting point, all new staff will actively engage in advancing the laboratory’s high-quality development and contribute to its progress.
