On February 10, 2026, the Social Development and Rural Science Division and the Frontier Technology and Basic Research Division of the Municipal Science and Technology Bureau jointly organized a supervision team comprising relevant officials and safety management experts to conduct a specialized work safety inspection at the Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory.
.
Focusing on core tasks such as the implementation of safety production responsibility systems, employee safety training, refinement of graded and categorized management systems, and risk hazard identification, the team reviewed relevant documentation including safety management protocols, training records, and hazard rectification logs. They conducted on-site inspections of safety control measures in critical areas like research laboratories and reagent storage zones, and directly questioned frontline researchers to assess the effectiveness of safety training and practical operational capabilities. Through in-depth screening of potential risks in biosafety and fire safety, the team conducted a comprehensive assessment of the laboratory's safety management effectiveness.

The laboratory will address the issues identified by the inspection team and implement expert recommendations to continuously refine its tiered classification management system, strengthen controls in critical areas, and enhance overall safety awareness. These efforts will further solidify the foundation for biological and production safety, providing robust security safeguards for cutting-edge research and innovation platform development.
