To implement the directives of the expanded meeting of the Municipal Party Committee Standing Committee, on 23rd September, Wang Fuling, Member of the Party Leadership Group and Deputy Director of the Jinan Municipal Science and Technology Bureau, led responsible officials from relevant departments to convene an on-site exchange meeting on municipal laboratory platform development at the Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory. Wu Nanping, Executive Deputy Director of the laboratory, along with Deputy Directors Li Xinguang and Jiang Chunping, attended the meeting.
Representatives from Jinan's newly approved national key laboratories, provincial laboratories, and municipal/provincial key laboratories collectively toured the Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory to gain insights into its development pathways, operational mechanisms, and innovative achievements. Participants engaged in in-depth discussions on strengthening collaborative linkages, promoting localisation of research outcomes, and advancing industrialisation.
This exchange provided invaluable learning opportunities for Jinan's laboratories. Moving forward, they will actively draw upon the advanced experiences and successful practices of participating institutions. Building upon this exchange, regular cooperation mechanisms will be established with fellow laboratories across key areas including joint platform development, resource sharing, collaborative research initiatives, and talent cultivation. Together, these efforts will inject fresh momentum into Jinan's high-quality scientific and technological development.
