On 11th October, Wang Fuling, member of the party group and deputy director of Jinan Bureau of Science and Technology, and Diao Hongwei, deputy director of the Foundation Department, went to Jinan Microecological Biomedicine Shandong Laboratory to conduct a comprehensive research on the opening of the scientific research building, the progress of scientific research projects, and other work and discussion. Professor Li Xinguang, deputy director of the laboratory, accompanied the research and attended the symposium.
Wang Fuling and his team visited the experimental facilities, scientific research platforms and research results display area in Building 7, and learnt in detail about the progress of the scientific research projects, including the research content, technical difficulties, expected results and potential contribution to the health of the society, etc., and highly appreciated the remarkable achievements of the laboratory in the field of microecology biomedicine.
At the symposium, Li Xinguang warmly welcomed the arrival of Wang Fuling and his delegation, and expressed his heartfelt thanks to Jinan Municipal Bureau of Science and Technology for its long-term care and support to the laboratory. He introduced in detail the progress of the laboratory's scientific research projects, the construction of the scientific research team and the future development plan. He said that the laboratory will continue to focus on the cutting-edge scientific issues in the field of microecological biomedicine, carry out basic research, applied research and industrialisation exploration, and contribute to the improvement of human health.
Wang Fuling fully affirmed the construction progress and future development direction of the laboratory, and said that Jinan Science and Technology Bureau will continue to increase support for the laboratory and provide more policy guidance and resource protection for the laboratory. He encouraged the laboratory to continue to play to its strengths, focus on key scientific issues and industrial needs, closely combined with market demand and industrial development trends, to strengthen the relevance and effectiveness of scientific and technological innovation to promote the transformation of more scientific research results into real productivity, and hoped that all the members of the laboratory to a high degree of responsibility and a sense of mission, to do a good job of work, and to achieve higher results.
